A Lee Dagenhart,

A C  Lee Dagenhart, age 93, Taylorsville, passed away Friday, February 24, 2012 at Wake Forest Medical Center. He was born in Alexander County on June 26, 1918 to the late John Lawrence and Addie Rae (Lippord) Dagenhart.  Mr. Dagenhart was owner operator of Dagenhart Poultry, and a member of First Baptist Church in Taylorsville.  Previously, he had served as a deacon at Macedonia Baptist Church. Mr. Dagenhart is survived by one son Jack Dagenhart of Taylorsville.  Two granddaughters; Erica Dagenhart of Taylorsville, and Courtney Dagenhart of Durham, NC as well as one great-grandson Alex Gorupic of Hickory. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Mary “Mildred” Russell Dagenhart, and one brother Roy Dagenhart. Visitation for Mr. Dagenhart will be held Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at First Baptist Church-Taylorsville from 2:00-3:15 pm with the Funeral service beginning at 3:30 pm.  Burial will follow at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery- NC Hwy 16 South-Taylorsville.  Rev. Tim Marsh and Rev.
