Aaliyah Elizabeth Schulze,

Aaliyah Elizabeth Schulze, age 3, of Statesville, passed away after a courageous year and a half battle with cancer at Baptist Hospital on Thursday, November 15, 2012. She was born on June 15, 2009 to Misael Goicoechea and Shannon Marie Walker Schulze. Aaliyah's nickname was "Little Cupcake" and she loved only the marshmallows in Lucky Charms cereal. She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Silvio Schulze. Including her parents, those left to cherish her memory include her sister, Lainey Schulze, of the home; grandparents, Rayford and June Walker, of Statesville and Libanesa Schulze, of the Dominican Republic; great grandparents, Clay and Joyce Madison, of Statesville. She also has a numerous number of aunt, uncles and cousins that will greatly miss her.

To celebrate her life, the family will have a memorial service on Sunday, November 18, 2012 at 3:00 pm at Hiddenite Baptist Church and visitation will follow the service with Rev. James Lewis and Rev. Jim Justice officiating.
