Adam Ray Deal, age 32, of Taylorsville, passed away at his residence on Sunday, January 25, 2015. Born on December 24, 1982, to Danny Ray Deal and Vicki G. Wilson in Forsyth County, he was a machine operator at Hickory Springs. Mr. Deal had attended Freedom Baptist Church. He loved hunting and fishing and was a avid outdoorsman, along with carpentry work and mechanics.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, James Howard "Dave" Deal.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his two brothers, twin, James (Heidi Hall) and Bryant Deal (Kristin) of Hiddenite, his step-father Charles Wilson, and a niece and nephew Addison and Brycen Deal also from Hiddenite, Grandparents Joyce Bowman Deal of Taylorsville, Ed and Linda Goodwin of Stony Point, two uncles Gregg and Terry Deal, and one aunt Becky Gwaltney all of Taylorsville. Adam had a special friend, Kim Davis. He also had two special buddies, Keenan Moose and Calvin McIver both of Taylorsville.
Visitation will be held at East Taylorsville Baptist Church on Friday, January 30, 2015 from 2-3:30 p.m. and graveside funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. in the Hiddenite Cemetery. Rev. Jamie Steele and Rev. Jimmy Bowman will officiate. Pallbearers will be Keenan Moose, Calvin McIver, Jesse "Bubba" Hall, Steven Deal, Wesley Deal and Terry Barr.
