Adonna Lynne Bunton Dickerson

Adonna Lynne Bunton Dickerson, age 64, passed away in Iredell County at Gordon Hospice House after a short illness on March 21, 2022. She was born to the late Claude Atwell and Frances Patterson Bunton November 16, 1957, in Iredell County. Adonna graduated with a bachelor's degree in Music from Pfeiffer University, then used her degree to teach music to children. Ms. Dickerson loved playing the piano, guitar, singing, and directing music. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with friends, family, children and her cats, Bob and Ziggy.

Those left to cherish the memories of Adonna include one daughter Taylor Dickerson, sister Gloria Daniel, niece Angela Sizemore (Eric), great nephew Grant Sizemore, great niece Emma Sizemore, sister-in-law Diane Patino, and a number of special friends.

Visitation for Ms. Dickerson will be held Saturday, March 26, 2022, at Hiddenite United Methodist Church from 1:30 pm to 2:45 pm. A celebration of life will follow at 3:00 pm Saturday, March 26, 2022, at Hiddenite United Methodist Church. Inurnment will be with the family.
