Adrian Harrison Eckard

Adrian “Harrison” Eckard, age 78 of Conover passed away on August 16, 2020 at Carolina Caring in Newton.
Mr. Eckard’s body will lie-in-state at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm. The service will follow at 3:00 pm in the church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Harrison was the son of Richard Lawrence and Fostina Eckard and was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church. During his working career, he was a brass nailer in the furniture industry, he enjoyed NASCAR, watching golf, but most of all he loved his grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Harrison was preceded in death by his brother Jackie Lawrence Eckard.
Those left to share and cherish the memories of Harrison include his wife of fifty-six years, Ruth Ellen Icenhour Eckard, daughter, Donna Eckard Rader and husband Brent, brother, Michael Eckard (Karen), two grandchildren, Megan Ruth Rader and Mason Merkison Rader, sister-in-law, Louise Eckard along with a host of special friends, nieces and nephews.
