Almalene Teague Pennell,

Almalene Teague Pennell, age 88 passed away at Frye Regional Hospital on Friday, February 13, 2015. She was born to the late Burrell Bowers and Lindia Bell Johnson Teague on Thursday, February 18, 1926. She was a life time member of Antioch Baptist Church. She was a member of Senior Saints and Haha Groups. She found great joy in vacation bible school, being a Sunday school teacher, going to yard sales.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death also by her husband of 46 years, Ralph Finley Pennell, one son Randy Pennell, three sisters Betty Jolly, Dorothy Speagle, Alice Childers, two brothers Sherrill Teague and Dan Teague.

She leaves to cherish her memory, one daughter Brenda Pennell White of Taylorsville, one grandson Rodney Pennell and wife Veronica of Hickory, one great grandson Ryne Pennell of Hickory, three sisters Margaret Stafford, Jeanette Lackey and husband Bobby, and Lucy Fortner of all of Taylorsville, two brothers Grae Dean Teague and wife Nellie, Dewitt Teague and wife Georgia and a number of nieces and nephews.

Visitation Will be Sunday, February 15, 2015 from 6:30-8:30 pm at Alexander Funeral Service. The funeral service is scheduled for Monday, February 16, 2015 at Antioch Baptist Church at 4:00 pm. The body will lie instate 30 minutes prior to the funeral service. Rev. Mark Morris will be officiating. Burial will take place in the church cemetery. Pallbearers include Tony Teague, Allen Teague, Ethan Windsor, Al Crouse, Jerry Stafford, and Ryne Pennell.
