Anita Lynn Newby,

Anita "Annie" Lynn Newby, age 54 of Taylorsville, passed away unexpectedly at Catawba Valley Medical Center, Tuesday, April 16, 2013.  Born in Orlando, FL in 1959 to John Allen Trussler, Jr. and late Alice Trussler Collins, she ran a daycare center. In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by her grandmother - Geneva Young. Those left to cherish her memory are the 'love of her life' for 13 years, John Ray Davidson of the Bethlehem community.  Her father - John Trussler of Hopewell, VA, and two children:  Angela and Phillip Newby of Radford, VA. One sister - Kim Sperry; two brothers - Eldon (John) Trussler both of VA, and Phil Collins of NV.  Also remaining are two nieces, two nephews, plus Johns nieces, great-nieces, one nephew and one great-nephew.  She also had a close relationship with John's family - John, Emma, Angela, and Brian Davidson; and Melissa and Phillip DeMellow.
A private memorial service will be held at the home of Brian and Angela Davidson @ 36 Starmount Lane, Taylorsville, NC  28681 on Thursday, April 18, 2013 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
