Ann Delowis Walker Johnson

Ann Delowis Johnson Walker, age 64, of Granite Falls passed away on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Wake Forest Baptist Health. She was born on September 5, 1954 in Alexander County to the late Roger Wilson and Opal Blanche Hubbard. She was of the Baptist faith. Ann enjoyed planting flowers, tending to her yard, and canning the produce she had grown in her own garden. She had two best friends, her dogs; Blacky and Brownie.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by one brother; Danny Johnson

Those left to cherish her memory include her life companion; Dennis Hall of Granite Falls, the father of her daughter; Roger O’Neil Walker, one daughter; Jennifer Ann Rodriguez of Huntersville, three step daughters; Tammy Hall Mull of Wilson Creek, Denis Hall of Marion, and Debra Harrington of Granite Falls, one step son; Dennis William Lee Hall of Granite Falls, one granddaughter; Ta- Hary Korian Reid of Huntersville, with a number of step grandchildren, her brothers and sisters; Jerry Hubbard and wife Joyce, Dale Johnson and wife Fay, Dwain Johnson and wife Barbara, Stevie Johnson, and Sammy Johnson all of Taylorsville, Douglas Johnson and wife Lori of Hiddenite, Carol Bingman and husband Bruce, and Kathy Shoemaker and husband Ronnie all of Statesville, with a host of nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be held on Sunday, December 16, 2018 at Alexander Funeral Service from 1:30 – 3:00 pm. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Gary Jennings officiating. Burial will be held in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Ann’s brothers; Jerry Hubbard, Dale Johnson, Dwain Johnson, Stevie Johnson, Sammy Johnson, Douglas Johnson, and step grandson; Chase Hass.

In lieu of flowers all memorials may be made to the cemetery fund for Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery at 2715 Bethel Church Rd, Taylorsville, NC 28681.
