Annice Hall Milstead, 80, of Taylorsville went to be with her Lord and Savior on July 2, 2016.  She passed away while she was at Abernathy Laurels of Newton under Hospice Care.

Annice was born Dec. 12, 1935 (1 of 6 children) to the late Q. J. and Etta Hall of Alabama.  Annice was born in Coffey County, Alabama.  She met her late husband, Roe Milstead, while he was stationed at Fort Benning in the service.  Roe preceded her in death 23 years ago.  They had been married for 37 years.

Annice was a member of Three Forks Baptist Church and also a member of the DAV Ladies Auxiliary in Taylorsville.

Annice enjoyed working with her husband Roe, running Milstead Custom Printing for close to 30 years.  Annice stayed active in church and really enjoyed working with the DAV until her dementia got worse and she could not continue.

Those that preceded her in death were her son Gary Milstead and two brothers:  Clayton Hall and Chuck Hall.

Those left to cherish her memory are two daughters:  Kathy Kennedy and and her fiancé, Kenny Mecimore,  and Marla Milstead, all of Taylorsville, six grandchildren:  Julie Bennett and husband Brian,  Lynn Tevepaugh, Matthew Milstead and wife Brittany, Steven Milstead and his wife Tyler, Dalton Reep and Deidre Reep, seven great-grandchildren:Paisley Bennett, Levi Tevepaugh,  Cheyanne  Tevepaugh, Ryland Milstead, Alyson Milstead, Zane Milstead, and Hannah Milstead.

Visitation will be 2:00-3:30 pm at Three Forks Baptist Church on Sunday, July 10, 2016. The funeral will follow  at 3:30 pm. Memorials may be made to Abernathy Laurels Retirement Community, Memory Care Unit,  102 Leonard Ave.,  Newton, NC  28658.
