Ardean Joe Howe

Ardean Joe Howe, age 96, of Taylorsville, passed away on Monday, August 8, 2016 at Gordon Hospice House. Mr. Howe was born in Bentley County, Kansas on October 22, 1919 to the late Harry R. and Annie J. Longberg. He served in the United States Army and fought in World War II. Mr. Howe was a member of Carson Chapel United Methodist Church. In addition to his parents Mr. Howe was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Evelyn Marshall Howe, brothers: Albert & Oran Howe; and sisters: Alice & Anna Howe.

Mr. Howe leaves to carry on his legacy nephew, Alan Bentley & wife Sandy, nieces: Marsha White & husband Bill and Margaret Childers & husband Reece, and sister in law, Wilma Bentley & husband Clenith.

A graveside service will be conducted at 3:00 pm on Thursday, August 11, 2016 at Carsons Chapel United Methodist Church. The Rev. Mark Marshall will be officiating the service. The family requests that in addition to flowers memorials be made to Carsons Chapel United Methodist Church, 1551 Carson Chapel Rd, Taylorsville, NC 28681. Military rites provided by Chapter 84 of Taylorsville and Chapter 6 of Hudson.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Alexander Funeral and Cremation Service.
