Atlas Samuel Jimenez

Heaven gained another angel, infant Atlas Samuel Jimenez “nugget,” the son of Kevin and Juli Jimenez, on Thursday, September 19, 2024. Atlas was born on Friday, August 16, 2024. He weighed 1 pound 14 ounces.

Including his parents, those left to cherish his memory include his six siblings, Adysen, Ashur, Ava, Anorah, Aspyn, and Attley; his paternal grandmother, Leonor Jimenez of Taylorsville, maternal grandmother, Janet Hanlon of Ferguson, NC, and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.

Atlas was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Victoriano Jimenez and maternal grandfather, Robert Shumate.

Atlas gave us a lifetime of love during his short time on earth.

A visitation will be held Saturday, October 5, 2024, at Alexander Funeral Service from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. A memorial service will be Saturday, October 5, 2024, in the Alexader Funeral Service Chapel at 3:00 pm. Rev. Mark Dula will officiate. Inurnment will be with the family.

Flowers will be accepted, or donations may be made to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Atrium Health Levine Children's Brenner Children's Hospital, 1 Medical Center Blvd, Winston-Salem, NC 27157

The family would like to thank the amazing doctors, nurses, and respiratory therapists at Brenner’s Hospital.
