Barbara Lynn Smith,

Barbara Lynn Smith, age 46, of the Ellendale Community, went to meet the Lord on Friday, November 6, 2015 at her residence. She was born Friday, March 28, 1969 in Alexander County. She was the daughter of Mary Ann Smith McAlpin and the late Harold Smith. Barbara was of the baptist faith, she loved God & she loved her family.

In addition to her mother Barbara leaves to cherish her memory a daughter Ashley Pope, a son Stacey Pope, brother Richard Smith, sisters; Joy Billings & husband Allen, Susan Starnes, Angela Johnson, Darlene Jonas & husband Mitchell, two step brothers Dale & Donnie Barnette, two nieces; Tiphanie Billings, Candace Johnson, six nephews; Christopher Starnes, Christian Jonas, Chase Johnson, Isaac, Elisha, & the late Ethan Jonas, and one great niece Mikayla Nall Billings.

Visitation is 1:30-3:00 pm Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at Friendly Baptist Church in Bethlehem with the funeral service following at 3:00 pm. The family requests that memorials be made to Friendly Baptist Church, 576 Friendly Church Rd, Taylorsville, NC 28681
