Barbara Jean Stout

Barbara Jean Hale Stout, age 71 of Taylorsville passed away on Sunday evening April 25, 2021 at her home after a period of declining health, Barbara was born on Sunday, March 26, 1950 in Tazewell County Virginia to the late Herman and Gertrude Street Hale. Barbara will be remembered for being the mother of three boys and being a loving grandmother. Barbara loved her coffee and strawberry ice cream, also she never missed an episode of “Days of our lives”.
In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by three brothers, Carlis, Carol, and Ralph Hale and one sister, Lois Norton.
Those left to cherish the memories of Mrs. Stout include her husband of fifty-five years, John Lewis Stout of the home, Rodney and Shelley Stout of Russell Va., John David and Pamela Jo Stout of Beckley West Virginia, and Bradley and Natalie Stout of Bethlehem NC. Ten grandchildren, Jordan Stout, Whittany Stevens and husband Jared, Alex Cooper and husband Justin, Rachel Stout, Gracie Ferguson and husband Garrett, Emilee Stout, Dawson Bumgarner, Andrew Bumgarner, Sarah Bumgarner, and Paisley Stout, four great-grandchildren, Brody, Bailee, Corbin, and Elias, two sisters, Norma Campbell, Darlis Fields, and a number of nieces, nephews, and a special friend “Fifi, their dog.
No services are planned at this time.
