Benny Ashley Daniels

Benny Ashley Daniels, age 78, of Hickory, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Wednesday, October 12, 2016. Benny was born in Alexander County on April 17, 1938 to the late Jeffie Eli and Zella Munday Daniels. In business he was known as Ben Daniels & Associates; his motto was "Buy, sell, or trade anything." In addition to being very frugal, he was an avid golfer and loved traveling.
In addition to his parents, Benny was preceded in death by two sisters: Janis Dyson & Loretta McCabe; and one brother, Curtis.
Benny leaves to cherish his memory, son, Brandan Ashley Daniels of Vale, two daughters: Tria Ashley Daniels of Statesville & Lee Jan Daniels Waddell of Taylorsville, special friend, Dale Johnson of Statesville, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Sunday, October 23, 2016 from 2:00-3:00 pm at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Taylorsville. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm. Inurnment will follow with the family.
