Benny Steven Childers, 75, of Taylorsville, went home to be with his Lord on Friday, January 8, 2016.
Born February 4, 1940 to Ambrose and Ruth Childers of Taylorsville.
He was preceded in death by his father Ambrose Childers, his mother Ruth Childers, and his brother Richard Childers.
Left behind to cherish his memory is his wife Ria Childers of the home; his brother Terry Childers; three daughters Dena Collie and husband Paul, Leja Clyburn and husband David, Lecticia Starnes and husband Sonny; one son Shannon Childers and wife Brandy; and his grandchildren in whom he loved and cherished.
Receiving and Memorial will be held at East Taylorsville Baptist Church Monday, January 11, 2016 starting at 5:00 pm. Memorials can be sent to East Taylorsville Baptist Church, PO Box 906; Taylorsville, NC 28681 where he was a member for close to 70 years.
