Bernadine Santia Williams,

Bernadine Santia Williams, age 74, of Taylorsville, passed away on Tuesday, August 23rd, 2011 in her home.  She was born on January 8th, 1937 in Kirkland Lake, Ontario, Canada to the late Francesco and Rina Santia.  Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, David Q. Williams of the home; son, Mike Williams and wife Kathy; 2 daughters: Debra Williams Fox and husband Richard, and Catherine Williams; and also 2 grandchildren: Jonathan Williams and Ashley Fox – all of Taylorsville.  She also is survived by her brother, Leo Santia and wife Nancy of Kirkland Lake, Ontario, Canada; 2 nephews: Christopher and Cathy Santia and children of Swastika, Ontario, and Gary Santia of Ottawa, Ontario; and brother and sister-in-laws: Tat & Joann Williams, Alice & Frank Crouch, Wayne & Annette Williams, Jane Williams, Margaret & Rowe Moose, Ronnie & Jerry Williams, and Carol Williams.  She also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews.  Visitation will be held on Friday, August 26th, 2011 at Alexander Funeral Service from 3:00-4:00 p.m.  The funeral service will follow at 4 p.m. inside the Alexander Funeral Chapel where Rev. Steve Dagenhart will officiate.  Burial will follow in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.   Woodie Childers, Wayne, Jerry, Brad, Billy, and David Williams, Eddie Moose, and Darrin Bumgarner will serve as pallbearers.  Honorary pallbearers will be Ronnie Williams and Ryker Bumgarner.  In addition to flowers, memorials may be made to Catawba Valley Hospice at: In Memory of Bernadine Williams.  Catawba Valley Hopsice.  3975 Robinson Road.  Newton, NC   28658.   Alexander Funeral Service has been entrusted with arrangements.
