Bernice Hubbard,

Bernice Hubbard age 79, of Taylorsville, passed away at West Wood Hills Nursing Center in Wilkesboro on Friday, September 4, 2015. Bernice was the daughter of the late Allen and Sarah Webster Hubbard  born on June 15, 1936 in Alexander County. She was a member of Mt. Hebron Baptist Church. Bernice had a very kind, happy, loving spirit and was such a giving person. She loved to make colorful yarn crosses and would give them to everyone.

In addition to her parents Bernice was preceded in death by seven brothers; Albert, Zeno, Billy, Winfred, Kent, Ernest, and Marley Hubbard, two sisters; Edith Hubbard and Ruth Williamson.

Bernice leaves to cherish her memory one sister Edna Kassin of Charlotte and a host of nieces, nephews and special friends whose lives she has touched over the years.

Visitation will be Sunday, September 6, 2015 from 2:00-3:00 pm at Mt. Hebron Baptist Church, with the funeral service following at 3:00 pm. The Rev. Eddie Yount will be officiating.
