Bettie Keller Presnell,

Bettie Keller Presnell, age 85, of Taylorsville, passed away at Valley Nursing Center on Friday, March 25, 2016. Bettie was born to the late Barney Thomas and Maude Lee Cline Keller on November 30, 1930 in Alexander County. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. Before her retirement Bettie was employed in the furniture industry. Bettie was a kind hearted person. She loved taking care of others.

In addition to her parents Bettie was preceded in death by her husband, James "Jim" Paul Presnell, two sons: James Steven Presnell & Jimmy Lee Presnell; six brothers: Howard, Gaither, Clayton, Warren, Fred, & Hoyle Keller; two sisters: Bea Keller Teague & Ruth Keller Hand.

Bettie leaves to cherish her memory two granddaughters: Lori Leigh Hall & husband Kevin and Stephanie Hefner & husband Eric; daughter in law Nancy Presnell, two grandsons Garrett Hefner & Zach Hefner, one great granddaughter Kayla Hefner, and a host of nieces, nephews, and special friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at Alexander Funeral Service from 2:00-3:00 pm, with the funeral following in the funeral home chapel 3:00 pm. The Rev. Barry Shew will be officiating the service. Burial will take place in the Antioch Baptist Church cemetery.
