Blanche Fox

Blanche Fox, age 85, of Taylorsville went home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 5, 2017 at her residence. The daughter of the late Carl James & Hattie Bentley Fox. She was born on August 27, 1931 and throughout her career worked from Carolina Glove for 10 years and was the owner/operator at Sanitary Pick Up Services. Blanche was a member at Liledoun Baptist Church and loved spending time with her family. She also enjoyed going to yard sales, knitting, and gardening. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband: Jimmy Thomas Fox and brothers: Graydon & Arnold Fox.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sons: Lonnie Thomas Fox & Steve Wayne Fox (Robin); daughters: Marcia Barnes (Claude), Anna Mae Wallace (Junior), & Darlene May; step-son: Allen Fox; grandchildren: Teresa & Amanda Wallace, Mia, Lee, Angel, Vanna & Monica May; all of Taylorsville; brothers: Marshall & Michael Fox, of West Jefferson; special friend: Gerald Meredith; along with a number of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 7, 2017 from 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm at Liledoun Baptist Church and the funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm with the Rev. James Lockee and Rev. James Bumgarner officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family would like to extend a special Thank You to the staff at Hospice of Alexander for their care and support during this time.
