Bobby Holland Stamey,

Bobby Jean Holland Stamey age 80 of Statesville passed away at Baptist Medical Center on Saturday, April 25, 2015. She was the daughter of the late Carl and Marie Daniels Holland, born Monday, August 13, 1934. Bobby was a teacher for 35 years, enjoyed gardening, playing the piano and making sure everyone was well fed.

In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband of 47 years Millard Ray Stamey.

She leaves to cherish her memory three step children Tony Stamey and wife Debbie, Shirley Setzer and husband Steve, Pam Stamey, three step grandchildren Ladd Stamey and wife Megan, Travis Setzer, Amanda Setzer, and four step great grandchildren Hunter, Chris, William, and Allie. Bobby also had two god children David and Angie Prevette.

Visitation will be Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at New Prospect Baptist Church 509 Prospect Rd Statesville from 2:00-2:45 pm, with the funeral service following at 3:00 pm. The Rev. Mark Robinette, Rev. Josh Byrd and Rev. Joey Campbell will be officiating. Burial will take place in the church cemetery. In addition to flowers memorials can be made to the organization of your choice.
