Bobby "Wayne" McKee,

Bobby Wayne McKee, 65 of Taylorsville, passed away on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at Frye Regional Medical Center. Wayne was born on May 15, 1949 to the late Bobbie Lewis and Betty Pennell McKee.  He worked as an upholsterer in the furniture industry and was employed by Alexvale Furniture until retirement.  Wayne was a member of Three Forks Baptist Church in Taylorsville, and taught Sunday School for 22 years as well as being a member of the choir.  He also was a veteran whom served in the Army.  Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by brother in law; Billy Daniels, and a niece; Robin Daniels Behrer. Survivors include his wife of 42 years; Soney McKee of the home, son; John McKee and wife Kisha of Taylorsville, daughter; Tami McKee Presnell and husband Scottie of Taylorsville, grandsons; Beau and Colt McKee, and Rhylin Presnell, all of Taylorsville, sister; Dianne McKee Daniels of Taylorsville, nieces; Angie Daniels Rogers and Steve Hunt of Hickory, and Holly Daniels Craigie & husband Chris of Greensboro. A visitation and service for Wayne McKee will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2014, at Three Forks Baptist Church in Taylorsville.  The visitation will be from 1-2:45pm, with the service at 3:00pm, with Pastors Carson Mosely and Sang Bum Lee officiating.  Burial will follow at Three Forks Baptist Church Cemetery. DAV Chapter 84 will provide military honors.Pallbearers will include; Danny Hendren, Chris Craigie, Chris Behrer, Steve Hunt, Arnold Wall, and Steve Ivosic.  Memorials may be made in lieu of flowers to the American Heart Asso., 4217 Park Place Ct.
