Bonnie Gay Cremen Carpenter

Bonnie Gay Cremen Carpenter, age 72, passed away Monday, April 24, 2023, in Forsyth County. She was born to the late Frank Cremen and Eleaner Irvin Cremen on Saturday, April 14, 1951, in Blackwood, New Jersey. During her working career Ms. Carpenter worked as a ceramist. Bonnie was of the Christian faith. She enjoyed doing crafts, crocheting, painting, sewing, wood cut outs, and gardening. Bonnie loved being a mom and grandparent. She cherished making memories and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Including her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Billy Carpenter; sister, Tyine; and two brothers-in-law, Joe and Tommy.

Those left to cherish the memories of Bonnie include her son, Duane Carpenter (Jess); daughters, Joy Merrill (Bill), Scarlet Hoiser (Stephen), Shawn Sullivan (Billy Minter); daughter-in-law, Jenny Anderson; eleven grandchildren, Eric and Emily Merrill, Angelo Nico Carpenter, Giana and Gabriel Sincere Carpenter, Valentina Cortes, Gregory and Amy Mack, Roger Minter, Anthony and Stephen Hoiser; great-grandchild, Hayden Tipton; sisters, Terry Cremen Hunter, Peggy Cremen Bowman, Margaret E. Cremen, and Carol Kuhner.

A private family memorial service will be held at later date. Inurnment will be with the family.

The family will accept flowers and ask that red roses be sent, or memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 128 S Tryon St #1588, Charlotte, NC 28202
