Brandy Tarlton Thompson,

Brandy Nicole Tarlton Thompson, age 34, of Taylorsville, passed away unexpectedly at her residence on Thursday, September 4, 2014.  Born to the late Roger Hurst and Mary Darlene Rushing Hurst Tarlton, on November, 16, 1979, in Union County, NC.  She was a member of Community Christian Fellowship in Bethlehem, and was the owner and operator of Whiskey Mountain Farms as a grower for Tyson Farms.

Brandy will be remembered by all as a mother who loved her infant son with all of her heart.  Her love for the outdoors and her years at Chestnut Hunt Club, owned and operated by her grandfather will be lasting memories.

She is survived by her mother, Mary Darlene Rushing Hurst Tarlton, of Taylorsville, as well as her son Rowdy Cole Thompson.  Her maternal grandparents, Jerry and Shelby Dean Rushing of Taylorsville, will cherish her memory.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday evening, September 10, 2014 from 7;00 -9;00 p.m. at Alexander Funeral Service.  Memorial services will be held at a later date.  Inurnment will follow with the family.
