Brenda Kay Kanipe

Brenda Kay Harrington Kanipe, age 73 of Taylorsville passed away on July 15, 2020 at Frye Regional Hospital in Hickory. Born the late Roby Smith Harrington and Lois Pauline Loudermilk Harrington.
Brenda was of the Lutheran faith, was a cloth cutter for the retail sales industry, retired from Walmart where she continued to work.
In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by her brother,Darrell Harrington and sister, Betty Tedder.
Those left to cherish the memories of Brenda include three children, Monica Feimster of Morganton, Kenneth Kanipe of Taylorsville and Kenzie Kanipe also of Taylorsville. She also leaves behind three grandchildren, Madison Main of Lenior, Ariya Kanipe and Azley Kanipe both of Taylorsville, brother, Billy Harrington, sisters, Connie Steelman, Dawn Pleas and Lana Davidson all of Taylorsville, along with a number of nieces and nephews and a special friend, Ruth Ann McGinnis of Taylorsville.
Memorial service for Mrs. Kanipe will be held on Monday, July 20, 2020 at 6:00 pm at the Alexander Funeral Service Chapel. The family will receive friend at the conclusion of the service.
Inurnment will be with the family.
