Carl Reuben Deal

Carl Reuben Deal, age 86, of Taylorsville, went to be with his Lord on Friday, June 27th, 2014. He was born April 11th, 1928. the son of the late Bryant and Dollie Deal. He had worked in textiles, construction, and the cattle business. He was a member of Salem Lutheran Church in Taylorsville. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Deal; a brother, Roy Deal; and a close friend, Mary Helen Kitchings. Those left to cherish his memory include 2 brothers, Haskel Deal and Connie Deal; 3 sisters, Marie Wike, Eloise Jolly. and Carol Fox; as well as a number of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Salem Lutheran Church on June 29th, 2014, from 3-4 PM with the service to follow at 4. Burial will follow in the Salem Lutheran Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Salem Lutheran Church Building Fund at 4046 NC Hwy 16 North, Taylorsville, NC 28681.  Arrangements entrusted to Alexander Funeral & Cremation Service.
