Carlos Eugene Steffey,

Carlos Eugene Steffey, age 65, of the Bethlehem Community, Taylorsville passed away unexpectedly on Sunday,  October 27, 2013. Born February 17, 1948 in Dickenson County, VA to the late Carlos Harrison and Arlena Sarah Belvia Steffey. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam Era. Carlos enjoyed working in the construction business for C&S Cable. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother: Harold Steffey and sisters: Frances Huffman and Martha Casteel. Survivors include his son: Carlos Joesph Steffey; and William Harold Robinson - who he took in and raised as his own son; brothers: Bennie Joe Steffey and wife Jerry & Ralph Steffey and wife Nancy; sister: Katherine Mae McCoy and husband Sidney Sr.; half sisters: Corine Hileman and Lillina Gilbert; a number of nieces and nephews; girlfriend: Wendy Reid and children: Daniel and David Davis and former wife: Mary Johnson.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 from 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm at Alexander Funeral Service and a Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
