Carolyn Diane Anderson,

Carolyn Diane Austin Anderson, age 61, of Taylorsville, passed away at Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem on February 7, 2011.  She was born May 17, 1949 in Caldwell County to Cloyd Pickens and Annalene “Ann” Austin.  Carolyn had been employed with Century Furniture until her health began to decline.  She was a member of Lebanon Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her father; a brother-in-law Rusty Sigmon and her father-in-law Guy Anderson.  Survivors include her husband Kenneth Anderson of the home; her mother, Ann Austin; one daughter Adrienne Hampton and husband, Ben; one son Stephen Anderson and wife, Kelsey;  Three grandchildren Alexis Lingle, Calista Hampton and Lainey Anderson; one brother Jimmy Austin; three sisters Pam Brittain and husband, Paul; Connie Sigmon all of Taylorsville and;  Jane Drum and husband, Allen of Granite Falls.  She also has a host of nephews and nieces. Visitation for Carolyn will be held Thursday, February 10, 2011 at Alexander Funeral Service from 7:00 – 8:30 pm.  Funeral services will be held Friday, February 11, 2011 at 2:00pm at Lebanon Baptist Church with the burial to follow in the church cemetery.  Rev. Eddie Jolly and Rev. Larry Allen will be officiating.  Memorials may be sent to the American Heart Association at 222 South Church Street, Charlotte, NC  28202, and the National Kidney Foundation at 30 East 33rd Street, New York, NY  10016.
