Carolyn Ann Dobbins

Mrs. Carolyn Ann Dobbins, 66, of Albany, GA peacefully passed away on Sunday, June 13, 2021, at her home.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 16, 2021, at First Baptist Church of Acree.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. at the church with Rev. Tim Bass officiating. Burial will be private.

Born October 17, 1954, in Hickory, North Carolina, Ann was the daughter of the late Robert and Thelma Teague Goble. She faithfully served our country in The United States Air Force and after her time in service devoted her life to her family as a loving homemaker. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Acree where she taught Sunday school for many years. Ann enjoyed many crafts including building bird houses. She also enjoyed puzzles, crocheting, needle point, and painting.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 43 years, Richard A. Dobbins, Sr.; step-son, Richard A. Dobbins, Jr. and April; granddaughters, Shelby and Emily Dobbins; sister, Darlene Bowles and Barry of North Carolina; brothers, Garry and Vicki Goble, Clyde and Pat Goble and Lee Goble all of North Carolina; special cousins, Roy and Terry Little and Carolyn Brunson; several nieces and nephews.
