Carolyn Sharpe Pressley, age 77, of Taylorsville, passed away on Friday, June 29, 2018, at Brian Center, Statesville. Carolyn was being served by Hospice of Iredell County. Born, September 5, 1940 in Hiddenite, to the late Maurice Sharpe Sr. and Addie Lackey Sharpe. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her brother, Maurice Sharpe Jr. and one sister, Eloise Mitchell, both of Stony Point.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 58 years, Leland Pressley, along with two sons, Douglas Pressley, of Fortuna, California, along with Brent Pressley of Hiddenite. Carolyn has one brother, Lynn Sharpe and wife, Brenda, of Hiddenite. She is survived by one sister in law, Joyce Sharpe of Stony Point. Several nieces and nephews, survive.
No formal services are planned.
