Catherine Morrison Walker,

Catherine Morrison Walker, 68, passed away July 6 after a 9-month battle with pancreatic cancer. She was preceded in death by her parents Franklin and Margaret Morrison and her son David Walker. Catherine is survived by her loving husband of 49 years Wayne Walker, her son Chris Walker & wife Alison, beloved grandchildren Alex and Madeline Walker, sister Nancy Heafner & husband Michael, their son Mike Jr. & wife Cathy, sister Addie Lawing & husband David and their children Dustin and Holly.

Catherine enjoyed many years working as a teacher's assistant at Hiddenite Elementary School. She also served as a Sunday school teacher for many years at Rocky Spring UMC.

Her sweet smile and constant positive attitude brought joy to all who knew her. Friends and family are invited to celebrate her life on Saturday, July 9 at 11:00 am at Rocky Springs United Methodist Church. Following her wishes, please wear cool casual attire and red if you have it in her honor if you wish. Visitation will follow at Rocky Springs Community building.
