Chase White Sr.,

Chase William White Sr. age 84, of Gastonia passed away on Monday, Feb. 14, 2011, in Peak Resources, where he had made his home. Born Dec. 23, 1926, to the late Carl and Julie Stewart White in Bristol, Tennessee, he was a loom operator for Pharr Yarns for a number of years. He was a veteran of the US Army during WWII. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wives; Ruby Little White and Mary Lyles, as well as 5 siblings. He is survived by two sons; Rev. Chase White Jr. of Statesville, NC, and Billy White of Wisconsin. Two daughters; Debbie Bowling of Bristol, Tennessee and Darlene Miller, of Stanley, NC. He has a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Graveside services will be conducted in the mausoleum of Glenwood Cemetery, Bluff City Hwy, Bristol, Tennessee, at 2:00 p.m. Friday, Feb. 18, 2011 with the Rev. Chase White officiating. Alexander Funeral Service of Taylorsville, NC have been entrusted with the arrangements.
