Clarence "Andy" Andrew Russell

Clarence “Andy” Andrew Russell, Jr., age 44, passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2022, in Alexander County doing what he loved. He was born to Clarence Andrew Russell and Jo Ann Elmore Smith on September 7, 1978, in Wilkes County. Mr. Russell attended Lebanon Baptist Church. Andy liked listening to Christian gospel music. He enjoyed wood working and animals. Andy loved helping people that needed it.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Joe Elmore.

Those left to cherish the memories of Andy include his fiancé, Kat Romanish, daughter, Sahara Russell, father, Clarence Andrew Russell (Julie), mother, Jo Ann Elmore Smith (Thomas), brothers, Nick Russell (Michele) and Alan Russell (Ellen), sister, Amber Chapman (Chris), paternal grandmother, Elzia Russell, maternal grandmother, Ilease Elmore, and a number of nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, January 4, 2023, at Alexander Funeral Service from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A private family service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like for you to plant a tree in memory of Andy.
