Claude Lawrence Oliver

Claude Lawrence Oliver, age 76, of Taylorsville passed away on Friday, September 30, 2016 at Catawba Regional Hospice. He was born in Virginia to the late James and Glady Oliver. Claude was a member of Fellowship Advent Christian Church. He was self-employed and loved working on appliances. Including his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Letha Mae Oliver; sisters, Meda Oliver and Velva Bostic; three infant brothers and two infant sisters.

Those left to cherish his memory include his brothers, Jack Oliver and wife Sue and Jerry Oliver and wife Donna; sisters, Dorothy Hall and husband Billy and Joyce Sparks; along with a number of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 2, 2016 from 2:00 pm - 3:00pm at Alexander Funeral Service with the funeral service to follow at 3:00 pm. The Rev. David Ross will be officiating. Burial will follow at the Taylorsville City Cemetery.
