Danny (DC) Connor,

Danny Lee (DC) Connor, 61, resided at 272 Polk St, Taylorsville. Danny was born November 27, 1951, Danny departed this life on July 9, 2013. He was preceded in death by his mother Catherine Miller Connor; father Daniel Austin Connor; son Andre Connor; grandmother Mary Bell Graham; three brothers, Steve Connor, Rick Connor and Jack Miller; sister Diane Miller; aunts Sarah Abbott and Mary Lou Wellman; cousin David Abbott and a special friend Brent Bennett.  Danny leaves to cherish his memory is his wife Stephanie Flowers Connor; sister Mary Frances Connor Younger; six sons, Danny McClain, Pete Dye, Michael Redmon, Shannon Flowers, Shaun Flowers and Josh Connor; two daughters, Belita Linebarger and Stephanie "Princess" Redmon; twenty-two grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Danny leaves to cherish his life a special cousin Rev. Bobby Abbott and wife Christal. Danny joined Mt. Carmel Baptist Church at an early age. Danny was employed at the Bellsview Nursing Home for 27 years until his health failed. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and residents that he cared for while employed at Bellsview. The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 14, 2013 from 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church and a Celebration of Life Service will follow at 3:00 pm. In appreciation the family of (DC) Danny Connor wishes to thank friends and loved ones for your outpouring of love and support during the illness and loss of our loved one.
