Danny Ray Trammell, age 53, of Taylorsville, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at his residence. Danny was born on Friday, December 1, 1961 in Cleveland County to the late John David "J.D." and Nancy Eckard Kerley who survives. Danny was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting & fishing. He was known for his good heart towards everyone. Danny was employed by King Hickory Furniture and also worked at Hallman Furniture, and Alexvale Furniture.
In addition to his mother, Danny leaves to cherish his memory his stepfather Jay Kerley, of Taylorsville, his daughter Alicia Trammell Bruce, of Kennedale, Texas, a son Anthony Ray Trammell, of Fortworth, Texas, two granddaughters McKensie Rhys Bruce, Sydney Tam Trammell, one sister Rita Hinkle and husband Jerry, of Statesville, one brother Eddie Trammell, of Taylorsville, three nieces Susan Caudle, Amy Thompson, Kristin Trammell, one nephew Michael Smith, four great nieces, three great nephews, a host of cousins and friends, and man's best friend Roscoe.
Visitation will be Saturday, June 27, 2015 from 10:00-11:00 am at Alexander Funeral Service with the funeral service following at 11:00 am in the Alexander Funeral Service Chapel. The Rev. Allen Fox will be officiating the service. Pallbearers include; Michael Smith, Anthony Trammell, Jerry Hinkle, Brandon Caudle, Jonathan Caudle, and Eddie Trammell. In addition to flowers the family requests that memorials be made to ASPCA, PO Box 96929, Washington, DC 20090-6929
