Daphne Camille Queen,

Daphne Camille Queen, 56, of Conover, passed away at her home on Saturday, December 3rd.  Daphne was born on March 17, 1955 to the late Brady Lee and Jeannie Mae (Sisk) Earls.  Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by one brother:  Terry Lee Earls.  Those left to treasure her memories are her husband Jackie Queen; one daughter Kimberly Lopez and husband, Hugo.  She had three grandchildren – Casey and Courtney Wright and Shelby Richardson, as well as three step-children – Deidre Kenworthy and husband Doug; Dustin Queen and wife Jennifer; and Derek Queen.  Five step-grandchildren include:  Haley, Wade, Eli, Jayden, and Kaleigh Queen.  Daphne leaves behind two brothers Donald and Ricky Earls, and two sisters Wendy Forquer and Linda Thigpen and a host of other family members.  A Visitation will be held for Mrs. Queen on Tuesday, December 6 at Alexander Funeral Service from 6:30 –7:45pm with the Memorial Service to begin at 8:00pm.  Rev. Gary Jennings will officiate.  Arrangements entrusted to Alexander Funeral & Cremation Service.
