Darryl Thomas Porter,

Darryl Thomas Porter, age 51, of Taylorsville, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Tuesday, October 25th, 2011.  He was born in Houston, TX on February 27th, 1960 to parents Herbert Sam and Sandra Woodall Porter.  He attended Shining Light Baptist Church.  He was preceded in death by his mother.  Those left to cherish his memory include his father, Sam Porter, of Houston, TX; his wife, Helen Cook Porter of the home; his daughter, Pamela Francisco of Taylorsville; 1 sister, Bambi Bailey of Orange, TX; his mother-in-law, Doris Gay of Taylorsville; and 4 grandchildren: Thomas & Helen Barrera, and Samuel and Michael Aragon – all of Taylorsville.  A Memorial Service will be conducted on Saturday, October 29th, 2011 at Rocky Face Baptist Church at 11:00 A.M. where Rev. Mark Dula will officiate.   Alexander Funeral Service has been entrusted with arrangements.
