Diane Dixon Fox,

Diane Dixon Fox, age 54, of Taylorsville, passed away July 14, 2016, Gordon's Hospice House. Diane was born to the late Lester Charlie and Beulah Mae Boyd Dixon on December 4, 1961 in Guilford County. She was of the Baptist faith. Diane enjoyed gardening, cooking, feeding people, baking, traveling, and spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents Diane was preceded in death by three sisters: Dorthy & Minnie Dixon and Myrtie King; and two nieces: Jackie Wright & Shannon Dixon.

Diane leaves to carry on her legacy, her husband of 5 years, Phillip Fox of the home, daughter Ashley Deaton & husband Josh of Seagrove, NC, son Christopher Varner & wife Sabrina of Trinity, NC, step daughter, Danielle Gourley & husband David; seven grandchildren: Brantlee & "Sissy" Deaton and Haley, Madison, & Brian Varner, Lukas & Avery Gourley, three sisters: Christina Hedrick of Summerfield, NC, Marie Gourley, & Faye Collins both of Hickory; two brothers: James Dixon of Rogersville, TN, Johnny Dixon of Walkertown, NC; and many nieces, nephews, and special friends.

A celebration of Diane's life will be conducted at 3:00 pm Saturday, July 23, 2016 in the Alexander Funeral Service Chapel. The Rev. Gary W. Jennings will be officiating. Inurnment will take place with the family. The family requests in lieu of flowers memorials be made to Gordon's Hospice House of Iredell County, 2341 Simonton Rd, Statesville, NC 28625
