Donald Bernard Boliek,

Donald Bernard Boliek, age 80, of the Bethlehem Community, passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at his residence. He was born to the late Clyde Theodore and Alice Irene Bowman Boliek on September 2, 1935 in Catawba County. Mr. Boliek was a member of Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church. Donald loved playing cards, especially Poker. He was a veteran in the U.S. Army. In addition to his parents Mr. Boliek was preceded in death by his wife, Ethel Powell Boliek and three infant sons who passed away at birth.

Mr. Boliek is survived by three sons; Doug Boliek of Bethlehem, Eric Boliek & Sidra of Bethlehem, Allen Boliek & Jennifer of Lenoir, two sisters; Linda Barnett & Neil of Greenbelt, MD, Peggy Parham & special friend Chrispin Reyna of Claremont, partner & special friend Carolyn Isenhour Costner of Bethlehem, Delane Costner Mitchell & Mark, Samuel Costner & Heather, twelve grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 11:00-1:00 pm Saturday, December 26, 2015 at Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church, with the funeral service following. The Rev. Steve Johnson will be officiating. Burial will take place in the church cemetery. Military Rights provided by DAV chapter 84 of Taylorsville & Chapter 6 of Hudson. The family requests that memorials be made to Mt.
