Rev. Donald “Don” Wayne Ingle, age 81, passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2020 at Frye Regional Medical Center and is now rejoicing in his heavenly home with His Lord and Savior. He was born on April 15, 1939 to the late Javan Beech and Nettie Freeze Ingle. Don had a special love for his family, especially his grandchildren who are “Dingle” proud. Throughout his life, Don served the Lord and always tried to find His Will. He pastored at Kinza Memorial Baptist Church, Dudley Shoals Baptist Church, and Union Grove Baptist Church. He also served as an Interim Pastor for fifteen other different churches. He served as Chaplain for Grace Chapel Fire Department, the NC Highway Patrol, and Frye Hospital. He had a passion for serving others. Don lived his life as a Christian example to others. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of thirty-eight years Linda “Lynn” Yow Ingle; and brother Garrie Ingle.
Those left to cherish his memory include his son Rodney Ingle & wife Karla; daughter Amy Hall & husband Alan; sister Joyce Allman; grandchildren Craig, Andy, & Maggie Hall and Hunter, Morgan, & Caroline Ingle; along with a number of nieces, nephews, and special friends.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date. The family will have a private graveside service at Dudley Shoals Baptist Church Cemetery. Memorials may be made to your Lottie Moon Christmas offering.
