Douglas VanDyke McRae, age 52, of Taylorsville, formerly of Greensboro, NC, passed away at Catawba Regional Hospital on Saturday, October 27, 2012. He was a Navy veteran and was preceded in death by both his mother and father. He is survived by a sister, Vivian McRae. A private service was held in Greensboro on Saturday, November 3, 2012.
