Earl Hunter Jackson, age 79, of Taylorsville, passed away on Thursday, December 1st, 2011 at Wake Forest Baptist University Medical Center. He was born on November 28th, 1932 in Cleveland County, NC to parents William Hunter and Bonnie Harmon Jackson. He attended East Taylorsville Baptist Church. He worked as a Researcher for E.I. Dupont. He enjoyed playing golf, and collecting antique firearms. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Delores Worthington. He is survived by his wife, Frieda Williamson Jackson; 2 sons: Marcus Hunter Jackson and Kale Harmon Jackson. He also leaves behind 4 grandchildren: Andie, Hunter, Collin, and Kaitlyn Jackson. Visitation will be conducted on Sunday, December 4th, at East Taylorsville Baptist Church from 1:30 – 2:45 P.M. The Funeral Service will follow at 3:00 P.M. at the church where Rev. Jamie Steele will officiate. Burial will follow in Cleveland County Memorial Park on Monday, December 5th at 1:30 P.M. where Paul Barkley, Fred Barkley, Kurt Barkley, Louis Owens, Wade Stephens, and Eddie Dease will serve as pallbearers.
