Edgar Leander Bonner

Edgar Leander Bonner, age 73, of Taylorsville, passed away August 13, 2016 at Caldwell Hospice. Mr. Bonner was born to the late Elonzo and Ellen Ada Sandy Bonner on November 4, 1942 in Tyler County, West Virginia. He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed doing biblical research. His hobby was working on electronics. Mr. Bonner owned and operated Alarm Electronic Manufacturing company.

Mr. Bonner leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 41 years, Hazel Ellen Gurley Bonner; sister, Janelle Perkin of Belpre; Ohio, two brothers, David Bonner of Middlebourne, West Virginia, Daniel Bonner of Inwood, West Virginia; five step children, Sherry Calhoun of Bethlehem, Kitty Elliott of Conover, Christal Zeller of Taylorsville, Daphne Martin of Conover, and Bobbie Williams of Lake buller, Florida; nine grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. There are no formal arrangements at this time. Flowers are not being accepted but donations are encouraged to be given to Hospice of Alexander County, 50 Lucy Echerd Ln, Taylorsville, NC 28681 or to Hospice of Caldwell County, 526 Pine Mountain Rd, Hudson, NC 28638
