Edgar "E.L." Lee Land

Edgar “E.L.” Lee Land, age 61, passed away Monday, September 30, 2024, at his home in Alexander County. He was born to Edgar Lee Land and Etta Suddreth Land on Sunday, April 14, 1963, in Caldwell County. E.L. worked in the finishing department at Hickory Wood Finishing in Hickory. He attended Mt. Ridge Baptist Church. E.L. enjoyed hunting, fishing, and tinkering around the house.

E.L. was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Land.

Those left to cherish the memories of E.L. include his parents, Edgar and Etta Land, and daughter, Crystal Strickland.

A visitation will be held Sunday, October 6, 2024, at Mt. Ridge Baptist Church from 2:00 pm to 2:45 pm. The funeral service will be Sunday, October 6, 2024, at Mt. Ridge Baptist Church, at 3:00 pm. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Mark Adams will officiate. Eddie Land, Nathan “Buckwheat” Land, Danny Suddreth, Eric Fox, Billy McDaniel, and David Robinette will serve as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask you to make donations to the charity of your choice.
