Edith Jean Pierce,

Edith Jean Pierce, age 56, passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at Catawba Valley Medical Center. She was born on Saturday, January 24, 1959 to the late Clifford and Nettie Baber Caudill in Bluefield, West Virginia. She was employed as a truck driver for Caldwell Freight.
Edith leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband of 23 years Billy E. Pierce, children; Christopher Alan Clemons and fiancé Cristy, Nicholas Adam Clemons both of Taylorsville, Andrea LeAnn Clemons of Stony Point, one granddaughter Breeanna Leigh Clemons of Taylorsville, one brother Johnny Caudill, five sisters; Mary Woody, Geneva Looney both of VA, Clara Ruth Akers, Vickie Carosi, & Diana Bowling all of WVA, and a number of nieces, nephews, and special friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 27, from 6:00-7:30 pm at Alexander Funeral Service. The memorial service will immediately follow in the Alexander Funeral Service Chapel. Minister Curtis Gilbert will be officiating the service. Inurnment will follow with the family.
