Edna Marie Davis

Edna Marie McPeters Davis, age 82, passed away November 6, 2019 in Lenoir Health Care. Born December 13, 1936, to the late Alvin and Faye Raye McPeters in Yancey County, she was of the Baptist faith.
She was an employee of Brian Center, before retirement. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters, Inez Fox and Christine McGallion.
She is survived by one son Jimmy Buchanan of Granite Falls. Siblings surviving include, Patsy Cook and Dana Kay Gentry, both of Marshall, NC. Juanita Nash of Madison Co. NC and Roy McPeters, the town of Alexander, NC.
She has three grandchildren, six great grandchildren, with a number of nieces and nephews.
Formal services will be held at a later date and Mrs. Davis will be inurned with the family.
