Edna Marie Herman Moose, age 96, of Taylorsville, passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at Catawba Regional Hospice. Edna was born to the late Lawrence Elijah and Effie Idella Crouch Jennings Herman on August 23, 1919 in Alexander County. She was a member of Three Forks Baptist  Church. She loved spending time with her family, gardening, and flowers. She was previously employed by Carolina Glove before her retirement.

In addition to her parents Edna was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Ned Moose, son Harry Lee Moose, sisters; Helen White & Rachel Ford, and brothers; William Herman, Ray, Garfield, and Lee Jennings.

She leaves to cherish her memory daughter Marjorie Friday & husband Grayson, daughter in law Doris Moose, grandchildren; Lloyd Friday & wife Pam, Frankie Friday & wife Maria, Dana Crouse & husband Danny, Kelly Head & husband Mike, brother LE Herman & wife Louise all of Taylorsville, sister Joanna McCarroll of Alabama, eight great grandchildren; Dallas, Danica, Mikhayla, Nathan, Nichole, Hannah, Whitney, Matthew, four great great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and special friends.

Visitation will be from 1:00-2:30 pm Saturday, January 30, 2016 at Three Forks Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow at 2:30. The Rev. Carson Moseley will be officiating. Burial will take place in the church cemetery. Pallbearers include; Lloyd Friday, Frankie Friday, Danny Crouse, Mike Head, Matthew Friday, and Dallas Crouse.
