Elaine Carolyn Smith

Elaine Carolyn Smith, age 75 passed away on July 2, 2019 at Carolina Caring of Catawba county after a short period of illness. Elaine was born to the late Cloyde and Jewell Smith. She was a member at Antioch Baptist Church. She enjoyed puzzles and cross-stitching.
She is preceded in death by her parents, one son Tony Smith, two brothers Terry and Bruce Smith, and a son-in-law Jason Stephens.
Those left to cherish the memories of Elaine include one son Jeff and wife Tamalita, one daughter Kim Stephens. Grandchildren Joshua Hight and wife Misty, Ashley Ellison and Husband Isaac, Wesley Hight and wife Megan, Brian Smith, Christopher Smith and wife Nami, Brittany Arms and husband Casey. Great grandchildren Rileigh, Arabelle, Laiya, Maci, Nolan, Owen, Gracelyn, Chloe, Mei, Eli, and one unborn great grand-daughter.
Visitation will be held at LifePoint Church Hickory (formerly Huntington Hills Church of God), address 2123 5th St NE Hickory, NC 28601, Saturday from 1:30-2:45 pm with the funeral at 3:00 pm. Burial will follow at Antioch Baptist Church in Taylorsville, NC. Officiating will be Rev. Howard Smith and Rev. Harv Turner Jr. Pallbearers will be the committee of Tony Smith memorial.
