Ellen Agnes Cowan Conklin

Ellen Agnes Cowan Conklin, age 89, passed away Thursday, February 8, 2024, at Gordon Hospice House in Iredell County. She was born to the late A. Stuart Cowan and Catherine Tobin Cowan on Thursday, June 7, 1934, in Brooklyn, NY. She enjoyed arts, crafts, scrapbooking, baking, and cooking. Ellen was an avid card maker. She loved her family dearly and cherished spending time with them, especially her grandchildren.

Including her parents, she was preceded in death by one grandson, Christopher Conklin, brothers, Stuart and Jim Cowan, sister, Margaret Scott.

Those left to cherish the memories of Ellen include her children, Stuart Conklin (Yasmin), Ben Conklin (Diane), Gordon Conklin (Doris), Renee Bundi; nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; sister, Pat Dixon, and several nieces and nephews.

No services are planned at this time.
