Eva Louise Loudermelk, age 85 of Taylorsville passed away September 30, 2021. Louise was born February 8, 1936, to the late Edith and Haskell Ingram. Louise worked at Broyhill Furniture for 39 years before retiring. Louise was a member of East Taylorsville Baptist Church but had also attended Calvary Chapel. Louise enjoyed reading, camping, cooking, canning, gardening, sitting in her rocker on the porch, feeding her family, and spending time with them. Loving on her canine companions.
Louise was preceded in death by her husband of forty-seven years Billy Irvin Loudermelk; two sisters: Linda Barnes, Nellie Minton; one brother, James “Chaunce” Ingram; two infant siblings who passed at birth; grandson-in-law William Brian Millsaps, and a canine companion Scooter.
Those left to cherish the memories of Louise are her son, Billy Lynn Loudermelk (Teresa); daughter, Lisa Loudermelk Jolly (Robby); granddaughters, Ashlee Loudermelk Davis, (Garrett), Lindsay Jolly Millsaps; great-grandson Dylyn Davis; sister, Phyllis Deal; brothers, Jerry Dean Ingram (Dian), and Wendell Ingram (Melody). Louise also leaves behind a special friend, Amanda Jolly, and her canine companions Chance, Sable, and Dora.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Hiddenite Food Pantry.
A private family service will be held at a later date. Inurnment will be with the family.
